Macro percentages incorrect? - confused?

Hi! I'm a bit confused and wonder if someone can help. When I log a food in MFP it helpfully gives me the macro balance as percentages. However, I've noticed this doesn't seem to correlate to the amount of each. For example, one food I have logged has 6.1g carbs, 6.2g fat and 4g protein. MFP gives the percentages as 25% carbs, 58% fat and 17% protein (see picture). Am I misunderstanding something here? How can 6.1g carbs and 6.2g fat equal 25% and 58% respectively? Any help gratefully received!

It's because carbs/protein are 4 cals a gram and fat is 9. It surprisingly adds up! 😀

That chart is showing you the percentage of the macros in the food or meal it pertains to, it will always equal 100 percent between the 3 macros... if you look down below it will show you how those macros in that specific food or meal pertain to your daily macro goals. The percent of daily goals it's called.
    Hope I understood your question..

That's just the breakdown for that particular meal. Obviously when you eat a meal the composition of macros for that particular meal must equal to 100%. Like if I eat a chicken breast and nothing else, it's going to basically tell me that meal was 100% protein...it's not a % of your target goal of each macro...just the composition breakdown of that particular meal or if you look at the overall pie graph, the composition of your day thus far.
