Hello, I’m Jill. 🥰I’m 53, 5’7” and I live in Michigan. My hubby and I have 2 kids in college… my son is graduating in May and my daughter is a freshman.
My goals for April:
🧹Spring cleaning

Confession time: logging is not my favorite thing to do. But, I’m at the moment in this journey where I need to log consistently. I’m starting with a goal of today… then tomorrow… baby steps.
14–207.1 logged everything I ate from yesterday just now. Definitely room for improvement. Feeling like I’m starting to get back into logging daily.

16–205.2 I just pre-logged for today… hopefully this works!

21–204.2 have been much more consistent with logging but it does make me a bit anxious. Working through it and realizing that a 450 calorie salad is healthier than 450 calories of greasy fast food.
Also trying to push through self-sabotage as I get closer to the 200 pound mark. This plan is for life…not for going back to bad habits.

4/3/23- 206 lbs. Was really good yesterday, was under my calories & carbs and it shows. I just don't understand why I have to go SO low carb to lose.
4/4/23- 204.8 lbs Can you tell I've been good with keeping my carbs low the last few days? Today looks to be good too!
4/5/23- 204.8 lbs. Stuck to my plan yesterday and today. Turned down a sweet treat that our director of nursing sent to us!
4/6/23- 203.6 lbs What a difference getting my carbs back under control. I wish my body wasn't so darn sensitive to carbs! I can't eat but a few servings of low carb veggies and not eating fruit. It's ridiculous!!!!
4/7/23- 202.8 lbs Well it's working again, the very low carbs. Guess my head is in it again! Elliptical HIIT setting 150 minutes for 10.06 miles, zones 2, 3 & 4.

4/9/23- 203.6 lbs Elliptical HIIT setting 150 minutes for 10.04 miles zones 2, 3 & 4. Meat & low carb veggies for Easter lunch today but I had a piece of a Dominican Pineapple cake. OMG! Not rich and a whipped cream icing but moist as a Rum cake. So delicious! Worth the calories & Carbs IMO.

Went to the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum yesterday. Quite a tear jerker! But a beautiful Memorial to them and the courage & fortitude of Oklahomans! And the many rescue squads from around the country that came to help them.
Today shopping for my granddaughter, shes 20 months. And plan to go to a aquarium shortly, when my son gets home soon, that they didn't even know was here.2 -

I bet the museum was very sad. I have never been but I'm glad it's there so people can learn about all the people it affected and how people came together to help. I have a 7 grandkids and it's always fun to shop for them. Have fun at the aquarium! The best aquarium I have ever visited was in Gatlinburg, TN. I really enjoyed it!2 -

I was under my calorie goal yesterday. I’m under my calorie goal every day or only over by 5-25 calories. I’m doing something wrong that I can’t get under 200 lbs. This is what all of October was like. Bouncing around 201. I’m craving sweet things like mad since I started this damn hormone pill. Thought I was doing okay with curbing those cravings with fruit. But the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result so I’ve got to change things up! Project for the weekend.

Happy April! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married woman with four kids. Mentally and emotionally, I have been struggling. I had to transition from being a stay-at-home mom/part-time worker to working 50+ hours a week after my husband's disability and subsequent surgery. Feeling the mom/wife guilt as I have not been able to find the balance. My mom had to have a heart procedure and now her condition has lead to her needing to see if she can be a candidate for a lung, and possibly a heart and lung transplant. My dad has mitral valve replacement surgery next week. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, Early Menopause, Plantar Fasciitis, and now my hair is starting to fall out. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, being consistent, and needing new coping skills. I know I've had a rough time dealing with all of this, but I will keep trying.

16 - 206 Celebrated Easter with the family. I skipped breakfast and dinner, just had lunch. I did log everything and supposedly just stayed under my calorie goal (with excercise adjustment). Completed Couch to 5K in the AM (just started, doing two weeks of each progression. I'm on the second week of week 1), but still gained. I've found that I can't use all the calories that I gain from excercise and still lose weight. I shoot for only using about half and that works for me. Anyway, back on track, hoping to lose what I gained over the last two days by then end of the week.
