Weight loss advice.

Hi everyone, i started my weight loss journey back in January. I lost one stone by the 13th March. But since then i am struggling to lose any more, i am calorie counting and exercise 4/5 days a week with cardio and weight training.

My meal plan includes tea and a breakfast bar for breakfast.

Porridge or salad for lunch.

Meal planned dinner, usually between 400-500 calories.

By the end of the day i have around 400 calories to eat, i would usually have low fat yogurts, jammie dodger minis or mini cookies (both under 100 calories)

I have eaten out on a few saturdays but i have been sticking to salads. I feel so discouraged right now, i need to lose so much more weight but i need some advice on where to go now.

Should i cut out the snacks even if they are within my calories?

Thanks

A lot of things might be happening but it's not the treat foods unless they are squeezing out other necessary nutrition or causing you to eat over and above your weight loss calorie threshold. I don't think that is the problem.

A stone since January is a good amount of weight loss, well done.

Stay the course. You don't give us enough details to really help, but weight loss "stalls" are very common - and can occur for many reasons.

If it continues to be ZERO weight loss for the next three weeks, come back and give us your

Give it another 2 weeks at that calorie amount. If no loss then you aren’t in a weekly calorie deficit and you’ll need to lower calories or add activity or a combo of both.

How close are you to the ideal weight? The closer you are, the harder it will be, and the slower it will be.

Have you redone the MFP goals to recalculate your estimated TDEE? Now that you've lost weight (congrats), your baseline for the day should be lower than when you started.

Yeah, your diet seems rather candy bar, cookie fwd.
