You chose a good place to come. There are a lot of people here who have lost over 100 pounds with diet and exercise. :flowerforyou:

    Welcome Aboard!!

I too have lost the same 50 pounds for the past 5 years. We need to examine why we keep the weight on. I have a fear of intimacy after a nasty marriage. But I have come to grips with the situation, and I am moving on. The new me will fit into a size 12 pants in the future (smile).

Have a great Labor Day weekend!!

A lot of folks (myself included) are right in there with ya girl! :)

You got the right idea for small goals, I wish I could do that. I have 126 to lose. It was 138 the day I started (Aug.8), but once I got the ball rolling, I don't intend to stop! And if you want small goals, try to participate for this month's 5 pound goal lost! I know I am! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1086820-lose-5-pounds-in-september-open-group?page=5

Tonia, I graduated from Weight Watchers 5 times. LOL! Now I am really making changes. Thankfully you have youth on your side so PLENTY of time to get things right.

Think of what you have learned from your last weight loss. What can you do differently this time. Maybe you will learn a new or better way.

I am motivated THIS time and for the FIRST time by Nutrition an Health. So here we go! :) Glad to meet you!

I so understand what you are going through. I have done the same thing. I always wonder how it happened. For me it starts with thinking I can eat sugar. I can't. It results in a binge that will last from months to years. I always get fatter than I was to begin with. I am now 64, so I urge you young women and men to do it NOW. Don't wait until you are my age. It never gets easier. I pray all of you have a great day, week, month!

You have a plan to stick with one goal at a time...and its a good plan
mark down on paper 10 reasons why you want to be big
then 10 reasons why you want to be smaller:smile:
