Counting carbs

Has anyone noticed that carb counts seem wrong. Example, I logged 6 strawberries. On the “add food” page. It says there 4.2 carbs. Then when I enter it into my diary it’s logged as 80 net carbs. I’m seeing this discrepancy on a lot of different foods.

Can you post the exact description of the entry you are using? There are probably 100+ listings for strawberries and it would be helpful to use the same one to recreate the error.

I put in that exact description and nothing came up that showed 4.2g carbs. Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Not specific enough, there are a gazillion strawberry entries in the database, and I don't know which one that is specifically.

Try using this one (circle on the left) and change the serving drop down (as per the circle on the right) so it's 6 medium strawberries. (Food scale is more accurate, though for something with as few calories as strawberries, it probably doesn't matter.)

The carb column in your diary appears to be carb percent, not carb grams. (Same thing with the protein column.) The database entry (before it's in your diary) shows that same 87%. I don't see what the issue is, other than that you might want to see if you can get your diary page to display grams rather than percents, if that's confusing to you.
