Trying to lose weight and control diabetes2

I was looking to keep me accountable. I’ve been overweight for so long. Im just sick and tired of feeling awful. My goal is to eat lower cards, start walking and stop the all or nothing. If I mess up I go on a binge, eating carbs and sweets, I just think I messed up so free for all lol. Ive got to change my attitude . I’m excited about changing my sedentary life to a vibrant exciting life!

Just the challenge I need right now as I recommit to my goals, one of which is accountability. My short term goal is to lose 5% of my bodyweight (8 lbs.) by my birthday on May 16th - as a gift to myself. I set this goal 2 days ago and have lost 2 pounds, so 6 to go! Other goals include daily weigh-ins, tracking food, staying within calorie range and 30 minutes of exercise 5x/week, and 10 - 15 minutes of yoga 4x/week. I like the Strides app for staying on track with goals.

I've been eating well but not tracking much. So this needs to change. I have a Weight Watchers subscription so going to start using it properly. I enjoy the walk sessions online. it gets me outside and exercising! 😁

Hello,
I would like to join to get and give motivation.
April through June is the perfect pre-4th of July challenge.
This is not my first rodeo but it sure feels like it.
I'm a mom of two, and I have been on a weight roller coaster for years. But this last spike, I have not conquered yet.
I have been trying to lose the same 26 lbs since October 2022.
It's been 6 months.
It's all I think about.
It ruins my day.
I finally gave up and baught bigger clothes.
I need to do this for my health and joy. It will make me a better mom and everything else.
My goal weight is 134lbs by the end of June.
That is a healthy weight loss of 26 lbs in 11 weeks, or 2.4 lbs per week.

Not the greatest start, but sticking to the ten day challenge as well and I think the combination between both will help. That one helps me stay way more focused on getting back on track it seems, cause I know I'll have to make an update in the morning. And even if I miss a date here, I know I already have the info somewhere. Yay.

I have been losing motivation and have seen significant decline in health. Gained weight, Cholestrol and Blood pressure, lethargy creeping up. Hoping to keep my goals simple and achieve the goal with slow and steady progress.
Goals - Move 10K+ steps everyday, IF 16:8, planned eating - all meals should be planned atleast one day ahead.
At end of June, I expect to see lower weight, feel more energetic and see better number for Blood pressure.

Doing my housework and documenting it as exercise on MFP is simply NOT enough for me. I’ve also got to consistently log my food. It really makes a hard day so much easier and is the key to success for me. Blah, Blah, Blah I can keep talking, but actions speak louder than words, don’t they?

I was hoping to be smaller and fitter with better glucose. It’s been hit or miss on all counts. Lately the unproductive days have out-weighed the productive ones. Very Disappointing! I often give IN but I never give UP. Staying the course and not looking back!

05/08-193.4-(Trend Weight: 193.2)- It looks like everyone may have dropped out of this challenge but I will give it one more week and see what happens. It’s my 63rd birthday this week (the 10th). I was hoping to be smaller and fitter with better glucose. It’s been hit or miss on all counts. Lately the unproductive days have out-weighed the productive ones. Very Disappointing! I often give IN but I never give UP. Staying the course and not looking back!
05/15-193.8-(Trend Weight: 194.1)- So very very sick the past couple of days but Covid negative. Blood pressure is way too low again and my throat is swollen up pretty bad. Knocking me off my feet and into bed. I will catch up on posts later.

@roz0810 Sorry, I have been so sick these past few days. I also noticed in April that our attendance to this challenge was way down. I think it is because you did not have the challenge ready by the 1st or 2nd of April. When they couldn't find it they dropped it from their saved list. Hopefully others will find it and join0 -

CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 176.6
CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM March 1st): 191.6 (re-doing March due to lack of weighing during medical issues)
CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
250’s; 240’s; 230’s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180’s; 170's; 160's; 150’s
Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.
I also weigh on the 1st and last day of every month to see my whole month’s progress. However, I did not weigh on the first of April due to some medical issues that are being resolved.
