  • You need to search online for calorie calculators that offer what type of activity you completed. Most calculators will ask how much you weigh, and how many minutes you did such activity. These calculators aren't %100 reliable all the time, but it's better than not knowing right? Then after you have found your information create new exercise & input your new found info. Here's a link to one for an example: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

I may be misunderstanding your question but I hope I am to some help. Good luck & welcome to MFP! :)

Buy a heart rate monitor that tracks calories. Or find an online calculator that will get you a good guess.
  • AWESOME thankyou to both of you, both are on my track perdomiter would be a good little tool to use as well, thanks for the website will have a look now
  • You're welcome dear. I had to find this out & learn it for myself so I am glad I could help. Like Ready to Rock said investing in a heart rate monitor wouldn't be a bad idea. It would give you a better idea of what calories YOU ARE burning and not what any joe shmoe is burning that weighs as much as you. Also, it saves a lot of time not having to scour the internets for a certain activity to log calories. Good luck with your weightloss/fitness adventure! :)
