I got it when it first came out, but if the price hasn't changed, I think it's very expensive for what it is.

The mobility drills are very good. The description of exercise form is not so good. In particular cleans and snatches jumped out as being particularly poorly described.

If you want to do a lot mobility work, and can't be bothered to search the stuff on mobilitywod, or want to add it to your library get it, otherwise I wouldn't necessarily bother.

How did the book get 130 five-star reviews on Amazon within 3 days of publication? And how come he calls himself "Dr." but he's not a medical doctor? Something sounds fishy!

No idea about the reviews, it's not a bad book, and he has a huge following, so not a huge surprise.

He has a doctorate in physical therapy I believe, so he can legitimately call himself Dr.

The American Physical Therapy Association says that when a PT uses the term "Dr", they must clearly state that they are physical therapists:

As far as those 5-star reviews, many of them were by people who clearly didn't read the book in 3 days, they simply like the author. It's against Amazon policy to review something you haven't used.

I thought it was pretty good. Downside is, while the book is cheap, you still need a good amount of equipment that he has a financial interest in. ;)

Though I must say, it has helped me quite a lot.

I've got it, I've only read a few chapters but I like it, I picked it up for about double what a pulpy novel would cost ($28 or so) so it was well worth it for me.
