Food Portions

Hey guys, how are you sure that you're logging in the correct amount of food portions ? I was losing weight at a steady pace early on in the weight loss journey but have recently been stuck at a rut and the scale isn't moving at all over the last 6 weeks. I think maybe because I'm not logging the appropriate amounts ? Also maybe my metabolism has slowed down.

You need to buy a kitchen scale - preferably in grams - and weigh all your food. Find the database entry that has a 100g option, check it against the label of the food you have in front of you and weigh out a suitable amount. I don't know where you are but here in Europe (UK) all packaged food has a "per 100g" label.
You will be suprised - shocked perhaps - at those correct portion sizes.1 -
Yes. If you're not weighing your food that probably is the problem. Use a digital food scale. Also, you don't say how much you've lost, but as you get smaller you need fewer calories. Reprogram your goals and it will give you a new daily calorie goal.0
