I need to lower my cholesterol, what foods should I eat and what foods should I not eat?

    I am not sure I htink you might find some goodinformation on You-tube or some of the sites like web md- hope it helps

    Cholesterol in diet is in animal products or saturated or trans fats. I agree that a quick Google search is your best source for lists. Eating lots of fruit and vegetables and healthier fats like nuts and olive oil is a general recommendation. Google the DASH diet.

    It's not always possible to lower cholesterol by diet alone. Some people have a genetic disposition to high cholesterol.

    Talk to your doctor about a time frame to see progress.

    If your parents had high cholesterol, you will too.
    #1 Get more active / moving.
    #2 Fix up your diet by replacing fatty animal product with lean protein.
    #3 Supplement with ground flax seed, in my case this made a difference.

    The absolute fastest way to drop cholesterol is to go Plant Based. No Dairy, No eggs, No meat. I also found that soy lecithin will drop cholesterol and blood pressure. 1 T daily.
