I saw a news piece about a lady who went running solo. She was followed by a man the whole time and she recorded him. There’s some weird people out there - be careful

On Strava there is the "Beacon" tool. It lets you share your location with friends and family giving them live updates. It's free but you gotta pay to use it on a other devices beside the iphone/android app.
