Hello there!

Hi everyone, my name is Kathy and I just started using this app a few days ago. I've heard good things about it online. I have been a WW app user for years but never seem to be able to get to my goal weight. I have always struggled to keep my weight under control, I'm 41 and currently 152 pounds, but I was 230 pounds in my 20's. I've always wanted to get down to 130, but I can never get my diet under control. I love lifting weights, and hate cardio. I know, I should probably be doing both.... lol that's all I got, nice to meet ya!

    You don't say how tall you are or what daily goal MFP has given you. Do you use a digital scale? With 30lbs to lose, the going will be slow. You should be set up to lose .5 lb a week, and even then there will be weeks when it won't happen. You'll need patience and consistency. Good Luck.
