Is there any way to reset or set the weight used in the "weight lost" statistic?

In the app on the profile page it has a box for weight lost but it looks to be based on your start weight minus you current weight.
I have been using the app on and off for like 8 years according to the badge i just earned.
So my start weight is irrelevant to me now so is there a way to reset it? With out resetting the entire account.
I have gained weight since my start weight 8 years ago, so as I lose weight over the last few days, weeks, it still just says lost zero even though I am losing.
Does this make sense?

In the Goals set-up, you can edit your starting weight (and date) if you want
On desktop: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change-goals-guided
In the app, it's behind the hamburger icon and then Goals.0 -
does changing the start date and weight do anything else? like erase history if i put my start date to today?0
