FitBit and MyFitnessPal

I deleted my old MFP account so that I could "start again" however now I cannot link my Fitbit to me MFP account as MFP is stating that "Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once.", despite revoking access through the Fitbit account.

When I've revoked access and then try to reconnect I see that same error message and in Fitbit the connection shows correctly.

Anyone any ideas on what I can do to actually get the Fitbit to connect?

    Our support team can help clear this up for you no problem. Please reach out to them, and include your Fitbit ID in your email so they can promptly disconnect that for you.

    Here is how you get your Fitbit ID via your dashboard:
    Log in to Fitbit.com and click on the person icon in the upper right of the screen and then select My Dashboard.
    From here, click on your profile icon in the upper right of the screen.
    This will take you to your Fitbit.com Profile and now copy the URL at the top and paste it in the email reply to us. ( your Fitbit ID will look something like fitbit.com/XXXXXX )


    You can also find your ID in the Fitbit app:
    1. Tap on the profile image in the upper left
    2. Tap on your name
    3. Tap Personal
    4. UserID can be found at the bottom of the screen.
