Thank you so much Deb and you are most welcome0 -
omg.. this sounds sooo good! Too bad I have high cholesterol:(0
-
I wonder if you could broil these, and eliminate the frying part? That would cut down the cholesterol, no?
I can't have the breadcrumbs...sigh.0 -
I'm sure you can broil them.
You can use whole wheat bread crumbs.
Here's the recipe:
2 sl whole wheat bread
1 TB dried basil
1 ts dried thyme
1 TB chopped fresh chervil
1/4 ts minced garlic
1 ts minced shallots
A good way to use Stale bread, these bread crumbs can
be stored in the freezer. Makes 1 cup. 7 Cals per Tbsp0 -
I actually can't have the wheat, but I'll experiment with corn meal...and let you know if it works.1
-
Oh yay!
I love cornmeal so let me know if it works please0 -
Ok, so I made these today and they were D~LISH!
I used egg substitute, regular breadcrumbs, regular olive oil, 2 cans of fancy white crabmeat & 1 pink....
So much less calories & carbs and other things but the sodium is higher... is it b/c I used regular breadcrumbs?
Here are the nutrition facts with the substitutions:
