DASH Diet

Anyone on this diet? I am just starting Phase 1 and looking for some tips and recipes. This diet came highly recommended by my doctor and seems pretty sensible.

It's been around #1in diets for quite a while and Dr's are basically told to recommend a few different ones, it's easy and they don't have to think.

It was very nice of them to allow you to eat 6 ounces of lean animal proteins spread out over all meals otherwise you would be getting almost no protein, which imo is low to begin with and 2 teaspoons total oil to prepare all meals for the day and you can't use butter, so margarine is recommended, I would find challenging. A diet that forgoes real cheese, is, well, not in their right mind and overall it's a diet that believes animal nutrition should be as little as possible, typical and probably why it's popular. It's definitely a weight loss diet, no doubt about it, and it will feel like one for sure, imo. cheers
