I'm trying to input home-brewed cider into my diary, who the hell measures cider in ounces? 🤦

Just curious, but how else do you measure beverages?

Pretty much anyone in the US measures liquids in liquid ounces using one of these, which shows ounces, cups, and MLs. It's not ounces by weight. When we buy beer and such, the can or bottle will be in ounces. Booze and wine tend to be in ML.

I'd wager that they aren't from the US. The US is one of the very few countries that uses the imperial system. Most countries using the metric system would only really recognize ounces as a measure of weight (even though they don't use it), not volume.
