So, in what ways did you find that the other app wasn't working well for you? Can any of us MFP "old hands" help you get things going better here, I wonder?
Unfortunately, I think the largest key to success is more in ourselves, not much in the tools. If the goal is weight loss, as it is for many who come here, then commitment, patience and persistence are key. Same is likely to be true if the goals are improved fitness, or remodeling eating in a more nutritious direction.
