Help - Navigating the App

Hi!
I need help! I’m familiar with how to navigate the browser version, but navigating the community via app seems… clunky.
I’m on day 2 of restarting my journey. I had an initial victory 10 years ago when I lost enough weight with nutrition to become someone who would run 5ks every other day for fun! That’s gone now thanks to injuries and inconsistent eating habits…. I’ve gained 110lbs and I really want to do better this time.
One of the best things for me when I started my journey 10 years ago was the community. I’m rarely in front of a computer anymore and so I’m hoping there’s tips/tricks to accessing the community more via the app. I need constant interaction throughout the day to stay focused and accountable.
Also! I’d love more friends as most of mine are no longer active here or have met their goals and are in maintenance. Preferably women who need to lose 50-150lbs and who are around 30ish, just so the journey is a little more relatable. However, I welcome all! I’m also looking for people who want to connect daily in some way just to keep ourselves motivated. Thanks in advance!

Not sure why you’re finding navigating Communitu via the app to be clunky? To me, it’s much smoother than the browser version.
Check out the three lines at top left to access boards via type of board or most recent post. Click your avatar at top right to access other options. If you click the bell after clicking your avatar, you’ll see replies to any thread you’ve bookmarked.
Bookmark a thread by clicking the flag at the top of any thread til it turns blue and red, or blue.
Get someone’s attention by using the @ sign in front of their name to pin the thread to their notifications, like so:
