Denise’s Intro

Good afternoon from Maryland! I’ve sporadically used MFP for over a decade in order to check in with my dietary habits and to track my daily weigh-in. I won’t undervalue the role it’s served in assisting me with conveniently maintaining my weight long term.

My personal goals have morphed over time from image obsessed to health centric. I want to keep myself in good health and resilient for as long as I can and instill habits into my daughter which will hopefully support a long, healthy life while supporting my husband the same. My specific goal for now:
- establish hobbies which are more active
- Eat much less and re-install my habit of being conscious-but not stressed about it.
- Eat more veggies especially leafy greens and beans
- Make a habit of adhering to FDA and my plate recommendations particularly for servings and portions sizes.
