Small muscle to Bigger Muscle

Another effective gym thing:
Working out your smaller muscles before your bigger muscles!
On an upper body day that looks like shoulders, arms, lats/chest.
This will make your larger muscles work harder because the small ones will not be able to help has much.
This might mean decreasing your chest press weight numbers.
But I admit to having a high-carb diet growing up. Cheap and shelf stable.
More protein is something I am working on.
Bodybuilders eat a lot of protein.
