I like to fry it in bacon grease, with some crumbled bacon, onion, salt, pepper and garlic, maybe not very healthy but it is very good......

Chinese Fried Cabbage. So good. My dad makes this.

Brown some bacon pieces in a large pan. Remove the bacon and set aside.
Shred cabbage and slice onion thinly, and sautee in the bacon fat in the large pan.

When soft, add soy sauce and cracked black pepper to taste. Add bacon pieces back in. Eat.

This Indian cookbook I have, "Vegan Indian Cooking" by Anupy Singla, has a recipe for Punjabi cabbage that is awesome. It is cooked in either a slow cooker or the stovetop and makes a curry of cabbage, potatoes, and peas with beautiful spices.

I primarily saute it or roast it. I also make my own kraut that I just eat because it's delicious...I don't need to put it on anything...just straight to the plate. I also really like it in stir fry. I usually use red cabbage for all of the above.
