Candy!

Healthy people: please don't hurt me for asking this question!

So, let's imagine that I go out one day to the candy store and HAPPEN to purchase an entire day's worth of calories in the form of delicious candies.

And let's saaaaaaaaay that instead of spreading out those tasty treats over a period of time, I HAPPEN to eat all of them in one day instead of eating the healthier foods that I normally eat.

Let's asssuuuuuume that my sugar levels are through the roof.

As long as this is a very very rare thing and the candies fell within my calorie limit, do you think this type of candy consumption would negatively affect weight loss?

Yes ...... been there & done that
  • No, and even assuming that the candy was above calorie limit it's only one day. It's not going to totally ruin your whole diet, or make you put on every single lb you've already lost.

I'd say to drink lots of water though, I think you may be hyper.. haha.

I pig out every now and then and it has not hindered my progress. Enjoy and don't make it a habit

Well if you only ate 1500 calories, the worse you're going to gain is like half a pound, and you probably won't even really notice the difference.
  • very well written! lol
