….gonna try and log all my food starting this next coming week. Getting familiar with the app this weekend. Need to lose pounds.

    That's the best way to get into it! I'd spend the first week just trying it and being as accurate as you can. That'll give you a decent idea of how much you're eating right now. Then try decreasing that by about 500 calories a day. See how that goes, then adjust from there!
