Weight fluctuation

Hi, I’m staying within my calories and normally have calories left over and my exercising and movement is normally always the same but I’ve put on weight why could this be ?

I think we need more info, such as what is the time line?
How long have you been within your calories? Over what period did you gain, and how much?
Short term fluctuations are normal and are caused by fluctuations in water weight (hormonal fluctuations, salt intake, carb intake, stress,...) and food waste in our digestive tract.
Longer term changes are more likely to be due to changes in bodyfat (or muscle).0
