Disabled fitness

Hey ya'll I'm hoping to find others who might know some stuff about disabled fitness. I'm a bit disabled myself behind surviving a stroke 15 years ago at age 27. I have been working out at the gym on a regular basis for something like 6 years now. I Graduated from the "Goodwill Fitness center" (specifically geared toward those with physical disabilities) in Santa Ana Ca to my local "big box" gymnasium. I'm pretty well self-taught on fitness but I'd love to hear input from anyone who has a similar experience with fitness for or with someone disabled. Best would be to hear from a physical therapists/trainers who have worked with a physically disabled client.
