Divorcing - New Relationship with Food

I'm divorcing my wife after almost 7 years. It feels so good to write that as I haven't told anyone, not even my wife (officially).
I'm trying to get back in shape. When I got married I was about 195-200. I'm now about 260 with more fat, and less muscle. That's one of the reasons for the divorce - my wife is not attracted to me anymore (I view this as a positive to know at my young age of 35).
Anyway, I want to start cooking my own meals, and making my own food. My wife wants every dinner to be a whole big show, which either means I have the option of spending an hour prepping and cooking food, or ordering in. Since I'm lazy, that turns into ordering in which is expensive, unhealthy, and honestly usually pretty unsatisfying.
Now I want to be able to do what I want for meals, but we're unfortunately still living together. Has anyone else been in this situation and have any advice? Sorry, I don't even really know what I'm asking, but I want to get healthy again, and find out how to eat dinner without my spouse while we're still living together.
P.S. I don't even know what to say or what to ask, this is actually the first time I've "told" anyone about what's going on.

I think a more direct approach of "I'm going to start doing my own meals so I can take control of my health" is probably for the best. If you're planning on getting divorced, there's not a huge amount of need to try and work together on it. Just let her know that you're doing your own meals. She can feel about it however she wants.2
