Hiya I was diagnosed 6 month ago. Ive been searching for DT2 group but nothing recent. Then came across this group. Currenty on Metformin 4 x 500mg. Started at 86 currently down to 53

    Hi, I’m also a type 2. I am on insulin and take trulicity once a week. In December my A1C was 10.3 and i. May I way down to 7.3. They have lowered my insulin my long acting went from 55 units to 30 and my rapid went from 15 to 10 units. I believe they will need to lower it further because my glucose keeps dropping below 70 and I half to snack.

    Welcome Joan! I'm type 2, diagnosed this March. I had pre-diabetic results last year and didn't make any changes. Not very smart of me, right? I came back to MFP so I could track carbs easier. Keeping track of my food has definitely helped - my problem has always been eating too much. I'm also on Metformin 2 x 500mg. My A1C was 7.0 in March and I'll find out in a few days if the changes I've made have improved it.
