I have lost 3 stone in just over 2 years by just eating eggs steak, salmon and bacon, and one hour exercise daily no food cheats, now I crave for nothing and enjoy my food

You're likely malnourished because you still need essential vitamins that meat doesn't provide. Balance is key. Fiber and other nutrients are too like calcium, magnesium, etc.

I'm happy to hear that you found a formula that works for you, sincerely.

I eat the occasional egg (less than a dozen a month), but haven't eaten steak, salmon, bacon (or any other meat/fish) since 1974 (yes, really). About 8 years ago, I lost 50+ pounds (over 3 stone 8) in just under a year, and have stayed at a healthy weight ever since.

I don't know what "food cheats" even means. I mean, I shoot for good overall nutrition on average, plenty protein, balanced fats (MUFA/PUFA/Sat Fat, Omega-3/Omega-6), boatloads of varied, colorful fruits and veggies . . . but also the occasional treat foods, fried foods, even some alcoholic beverages in moderation, within a sensible average calorie goal.

I crave for nothing for very long (I just eat what I want in sensible portions) and enjoy my food. My daily exercise, coincidentally, is also an hour or more most days, and it goes well eating like this.

It's almost as if different routines work best for different people, eh?

    Best wishes!
