haven't lost any weight in 5 days

What gives? Thought I was eating too little so I added more food. Is 5 days at one weight normal?

First 5 days isn't very long.

Second, why did you think you were eating too little? Were you losing too fast?

    Are you weighing/measuring everything?

Perhaps you added back a bit to much, but again it's too soon to tell.

5 days is way way too soon to determine your true weight trend.
At least 4 weeks/one menstrual cycle to be really sure.

Also, some scales have fake consistency: they will show the same weight when in reality there are small fluctuations. Weigh yourself with something heavy and then weigh again without it to see if that changes anything.

You may even gain on some days. You need to give it time, sometimes a month. If no loss at that point you aren’t in a weekly calorie deficit.

normal, carry on. some days your weight will even go up. doesn’t mean it’s fat gain. lots of stuff in our body carry weight and fluctuate including waste in intestines, water, food in stomach, menstrual cycle situations
