Hi, if I go for a walk do I add that to exercise or not because my fitbit is set up to keep track of my steps with mfp? I'm not sure what to do.

If your watch is synced to MFP, then don't add the walk separately, as the steps will already be included. If it isn't synced, then add the walk, but not total steps as those include a lot of ordinary movement that is part of daily living and you don't want to be double counting. For me, I get about 2000 steps above and beyond the walks and runs I do, just moving around the house or grocery. I can also get a lot of 'steps' counted on my watch if I do something that requires a lot of movement in my left arm.1
