I loved it and went for years. Twice a week was enough for me and then I supplemented with walking. However I ended up developing a chronic hip pain and had to quit. Some people feel the workouts have too repetitive of movements that lead to injury. I had huge calorie burns there and was in the best shape of my life but it’s possible that all the running uphill and rowing led to my pain 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Some of my friends love it, but I admit I haven't tried it. I will say - as a long term water/machine rower (with rowing coaching education) who's seen some of the local OT trainers row . . . not all OT sites teach good (safer) rowing form. Some do, though.

I did a couple months of free trial and decided, while the workouts were great, that I wanted more flexibility in what I did. However the outlet owner talked me into a money-back extension. I never got any money back. When I still wanted to cancel, they first pulled up fine print about attending a sufficient number of times to make it a real trial, but there was enough time left that I made up the extra attendance. Then I got excuses about "head office delays" as well as other delays and promises. This may have just been the local management. Still no refund and I finally gave up. They lasted another couple years and I heard they were evicted for not paying rent. Depending on your local management, YMMV.

The best parts for when I did it before Covid: they fine you if you don’t show up to class! It didn’t get to the point of boring for me. I like data. Then Covid happened and now my major exercise is my ebike.
