New mom on the virtual block!

Hi! I’m a 40 year old mom of three. After using WW for over a year, I lost 30 pounds but I have about 8-10 left to go to get back to my pre kid #3 weight. I had much less trouble getting back to shape after my other two kids. I think this was a combination of covid lockdowns and just being a couple years older.

I work full time from home in software management and am fairly sedentary during the day but we try to be active on the weekends. We especially love camping. I have been doing pure barre for a few months and just added in orange theory. My whole family has been eating healthier as I’ve been making healthier foods. I think that’s the biggest NSV I’ve experienced in this journey so far.

I would love to hit my weight loss goal by my birthday mid September. I have 9 weeks! I’ve joined because I think I need to start focusing on calorie counting. WW is great and got me this far but this last stretch is going to require a bit more discipline and paying attention to the calories of those 0 point foods.

Separately I want to run a 5k this calendar year so I’m going to be focusing on that soon here. Orange theory is going to help me build a base.
