Can I ask if colories in fitnesspal app are per portion or for the whole recipe?

in MyFitnessPal Tech Support Questions
Fir example if it says 400 and serve 4 does that mean 400 calories in each portion. Or 100 calories in each portion?

    It means 100 kcal. per portion. Be careful, you will probably have to weigh the portion and do a bit of elementary algebra (more than likely in your head without a calculator since 100 is an easy number to work with) to determine the exact amount you will be eating.
