You got this! Remember small steps are achievements too...not every day is perfect.

The best advice I can give you is: do NOT build your weight loss strategy on motivation.
Motivation, in the sense of 'yeah, I'm excited about this, let's go', is fleeting.
Think about all the things you do in a day: how many of those do you do because you're motivated to do them? And how many do you do because it's a habit and/or because you need to/have to?

Choose a strategy that requires as little motivation and willpower as possible:
    - make slow, gradual changes, creating new habits
    - don't make yourself miserable: don't eliminate all of your favorite foods, don't choose an overly aggressive weight loss rate, don't make yourself do types of exercise you dislike or exercise for so long/so frequently that it burns you out or is hard to fit into your day.
    - think about what your weak points are and adapt to them. For example: home-cooked meals are great for health, but if you don't always have time for home-made lunches and you then default to buying fast-food, perhaps explore some ready-made foods from the supermarket as a back-up for when you don't have time to prepare anything. Or take advantage of your weekends to prep food for during the week. If you know you can't moderate your intake of certain foods (eat the whole package in one go), try buying single serving sizes or simply not having those foods in the house. If you're not a morning person, don't force yourself to exercise in the morning, but rather look for another moment in your day. Etc.
    - don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Aiming to be perfect is guaranteed to lead to (self-perceived) failure. There will be days when you overeat, there will be days when you really won't be up for exercise,... We all make mistakes. And sometimes there are things more important than our weight: enjoying the holiday foods with family, etc. Also, don't feel guilty. If you make mistakes, just learn from them and move on.
    - don't do anything that you can't keep up long-term: if you make temporary changes to your diet, your weight loss is likely to be temporary too.
