Turbo Fire Questions

I am starting Turbo Fire over after taking a break to do Insanity. I have 2 quick questions for you all.
1- On the days you do HIIT workouts, do you do anything else? I have this issue where I feel like 15 minutes of exercising, regardless of intensity is not enough. Is it ok to go for a walk or jog in addition to a HIIT workout?
2- the same for rest days. Do you take off entirely or is it ok to go for a walk/jog?
Thanks everyone!

You can do as much as you want on train days, just as long as you don't hurt yourself. For example on a normal Monday like today, I do 50 mins soccer, 50 mins swimming laps, 4.5 miles biking, and P90X chest/back plus ab ripper x. If you can do it, still have energy left, go for it. Just know your limitations if you start trying to to too much at once.
As for rest days, yeah you can go for a walk or jog, just take it easy. A rest day is therefor your muscles to heal. On a regular training day if you're pushing yourself pretty hard, you're tearing your muscle fibers and they need that day to heal and form stronger tissues-making you stronger as well. What I would suggest (this is what I do) is doing the insanity recovery videos. Yesterday was my recovery day and I did cardio recovery and max recovery, but I would suggest doing just max recovery since I found that doing both wore me out too much to be very successful for the second video when it came. Or yoga is a good idea too-stretch out those tight muscles from all the work they've been doing all week.0 -
Finally someone else who is doing turbo fire ! I to agree and wonder about the 15 minute HIITs not feeling like I'm burning enough, especially since I already have a tiny frame.
I also agree with kwedman488 you can do what you please as long as your not pushing yourself to death. On rest days I like moving as much as possible but nothing strenuous just like a walk or squats. Im so used to moving,I hate sitting, I feel like whenever I sit, my butt is flattening like a pancake. lol0 -
Today was fire 30 and sculpt 300

I will do the short Hiit's and then do another program too. I agree I don't feel that I am doing enough so I will go all out in any way that I can. Gotta burn and sweat more0
