I’m a 44 year old female and I’m not sure what my macro percentages should be? Any advice.
My goal is to lose weight.

For most people, the MFP default macro percentages aren't terrible as a starting point, as long as they aren't trying too aggressively fast for their current situation.
Why not start logging, see how you stack up against the defaults, and how you feel doing it? That's a good start.
While doing that, you can learn more about macros and nutrition, plus get a personal reading on how various eating routines (timing, food choices) affect your satiation, energy level, and appetite.
It's calories that matter directly for fat loss. Sub-par nutrition can have an indirect effect: For example, it can torpedo energy level so we drag through the day, burn fewer calories than usual in daily life; or it can spike appetite/cravings and make it harder to stick with a sensible calorie goal. But the direct effect on fat loss is still calories.2
