Firstly hello and it’s nice to meet you wonderful people. I look forward to tons of motivation and making friends.
I do have questions regarding the site.
1. How do I send a friend request from the mobile website (not the app). The app is giving me issue. I think my old phone just isn’t playing nice with the app so I’m using the site. When I click a users profile I don’t see an add to friends or friend request link
2. How accurate are the dairy entries for calories?

Can’t help you with the website. I use the iOS app.
Good entries are crowd sourced, so they are obit as accurate as the person who originally entered them. Compare them to the product label til you get your feet wet. Make sure serving sizes, calories and major macros (protein, carbs, fats, fiber) match.
Avoid using generic entries like “hamburger” “lasagna” “spaghetti and meatballs”. You have no idea what those include. And beware “fantasy” entries. You’ll run acrost items like “double fudge chocolate cake 75 calories per slice” or I saw a Lidl chocolate bar last night someone had entered as “15 per serving”. Um…..nooooooooooo
Some restaurant chains have their info entered. If you search their name, it’ll pull up a sub menu of their items. Even my little yoga studio smoothie parlor has taken the time to enter their menu, which I sincerely appreciate.1 -

Hi again, ok so the app is now working on my phone but when I go to community and I want to add a friend I see no option. If I click your user name and profile there’s no friend request, just ignore

You are not the first person to be confused lol
>click the profile pic of the member you want to add
>click the blue “member profile” button
>click the white “member profile” button (not the little man with the down arrow. That’s the one that has the “ignore” button)
>click the little man with the “+” button. It will pull up a form that lets you send a friend request.
Enter your name but don’t bother with a message. MFP had a severe issue with pornbots two or three years ago and disabled messaging people you weren’t friends with. It’s supposedly been reactivated but seldom works. So you may waste time typing a greeting that vanishes into the ether.0
