Natural sugar vs processed sugar

Is there any way to differentiate natural sugars from processed sugars in the macros? I'm on a special diet where I need to limit my processed sugars but natural sugars are ok.

Well anything processed (packaged, not cooked by you, etc.) would be added. Natural sugars would be in fruit and vegetables. Stick to those and you limit your processed sugars.
In the overall scenario though, ALL SUGARS regardless are broken down in the body to it's simplest form which is a mono or di saccharide. Watching your overall intake of sugar should be your goal. Your nutritionist should know this.

I agree with this… There should a breakdown in the nutritional values that distinguishes between added sugars versus sugars. That has been added to FDA nutrition panels, and it should be added to the app to distinguish here. Many now know that natural sugars from such things as fruits are not nearly as “bad” as added sugars to such things as sweets and pastries, etc.
