numbers confuse me!

Had vo2 tested at hospital BMR was 1890 was told that considering that I excercise 6 days week that I should eat 2,000 calories per day to lose 2 lbs per week. 3,024 to maintain my weight. I had it tested when I weighed 184, now weigh 177.4.
The confusion sets in MFP states I should eat 1200 calories per day to lose 1-2 lbs per week before activity calories.
So I reat about tdee figured that out and stated I should eat about 1600 calories and not eat back activity calories.
My head hurts!
Any insight or opinions?:huh:

Your VO2 test should be allot more accurate for YOU then the overall average estimate that MFP will give for a person of your height and weight so I would go by that. But be aware that as you lose weight you need even less calories. If your eating 2000 calories a day and still losing weight then stay there until you stop losing. Then maybe go to 1800 and see how that does.
You didn't mention how long it took you to lose your 7 lbs. There will always be plateau's but best thing is to stay on your plan and work through them. If a plateau last more then 2 months then I have found that I neded to drop my calories again.
