Defining myself as more than a mom

I'm a 36 year old mom of five girls, I just want to feel healthy again and feel as though I've tried everything...I cycle 75 min a day, yoga, inter. Fasting...nothing works...I have multiple sclerosis so my starting abilities are limited ...I just wanna get the scale to go down to boost my confidence a little ..I've been 180 since highschool, and just recently hit 190....just wanna love myself again...

A mom of 5 kids you are a superpower! Your making data driven decisions every time you log your intake. Do not forget to hit complete your day as it will give you the trajectory on. Your already successful.0

I started out here in the 180s pounds, age 59, hypothyroid, but without the challenge of MS. You're doing a great job staying so active! Finding exercise we enjoy (or at least find convenient and tolerable) is part of the useful formula, IMO.
For me, just getting my calorie budget under control was the thing that finally got my weight down into the healthy range, and has kept me there since (7+ years now) . . . that, after around 30 years before that of overweight/obesity.
I'm too much of a hedonist to be a fan of restrictive diets or unpleasant exercise, but I found I could experiment and get to reasonable calories consistently enough to make progress, while eating foods I enjoy, staying reasonably full, and getting decent overall nutrition. (Oh, and doing mostly exercise I truly enjoy, too.)
It was kind of a grown-up science fair project for a while figuring that out and practicing to make the habits pretty automatic, but it's been more than worth the effort. Huge quality of life improvement!
