Finn ally using MyFitnessPal correctly

Am 66 years old and retired 2 years ago. More busy then when I was working but enjoying every minutes of it. Been using MyFitnessPal for few years in informal way and now made myself a plan that includes intermittent fasting. Was able recently to cure my high blood pressure by changing my diet and drinking healthy juices including turmeric and garlic.

I stretch and yoga every morning and go to the gym to lift weights 4 times a week. Am an avid kite surfer kite skier and windsurfer.

Sounds like you're off to a good start: Welcome to the MFP Community!

Your diet and exercise choices are very different from mine (not a criticism!), but I'm in your demographic (67, retired, active). I'm a eat-anytime calorie-counter, long time (49 years) vegetarian (thin to obese and back again ;) ), who strives to get good overall nutrition. My blood pressure (plus high cholesterol/triglycerides) normalized part way through weight loss, and has stayed that way for well over 7 years, nearly all of that weight maintenance (excepting only the initial months of loss). I mostly row (on water when possible, machine when I must), and bike (paved trails in reasonable weather, stationary in our very cold/snowy Winter).

Best wishes for continuing success with MFP!
