Hi and welcome !
You've probably heard it all before, but just in case:- make sure your room is slightly cooler than the rest of your house and with as little light and noise as possible
- turn off all electronic devices one hour before bedtime
- set an alarm to get to bed every day at the same time, to get your body in the rhythm
- if you are awake longer than 15 minutes, stop tossing and turning and get up. Go to the bathroom, read a paper book or a magazine in low light
- try to think of nice thoughts. It's in your head so everything is possible: you can fly, live in a mansion or in the woods with the fairies... whatever takes your fancy. Try to visualize that.
