I Just started using this app. I am hoping to get educated on eating healthy and cooking healthy. I am a mom of three and a grandma of 5. I will be 60 in a few months. I was raised eating unhealthy and now I am pre diabetic. So I want to change my eating habits. I have some but am at a standstill. Right now. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Are you a healthy weight? If not, use the guided setup to determine how many calories you should be eating. A food scale will help you be accurate in tracking.
Try to find some form of exercise you enjoy and gradually build up to where you are getting at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days.
As for nutrition, focus on getting plenty of vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and protein. Legumes and nuts (in moderation) are good for you, assuming no medical reason to avoid either.
ETA: I realize the first two paragraphs aren't direct responses to you implied question about nutrition, but they are more likely to have an effect on your prediabetic status than the specific kinds of foods that you're eating.1 -
