Leg swelling can be an early sign of lymphodema if it's common in your family history. Get it checked to ensure it's not.

Endorsing the advice to see your doctor about the leg swelling. Don't take chances.

During the time when swelling is present, of course scale weight will increase. It's a form of water retention, not fat (re-)gain.

From a bodyweight standpoint, don't worry about it . . . but from a health/wellness perspective, see your doctor to rule out serious conditions.

I have that issue and need to see my doctor at some point. Generally my swelling means (1) sitting in one position too long (2) driving too long (3) restaurant eating or those tv dinners (4) salty homemade meals (5) pizza or cheesy pasta or fries (6) lack of water (I often take water but forget to drink) (7) some medicines (I forget which ones) (8) lack of exercise or excessive exercise that your body cannot tolerate. (9) Sinus or congestion or bronchial issues (not sure if its the disease or the meds). These are my own personal observations and hope it helps

Dieting or working out should NOT cause leg swelling (edema). Ask your doctor about it.
