Water Consumption Reminders

Options
Incorporate features from the water reminder app that is currently on the AppStore and play store with easy choice entry, such as the usual intake of cup, can, or custom. Prompt reminders to drink water and let the user choose what the frequent amounts

Additionally, add options for adding other beverages that are already within the database like , McDonald’s coffee, etc etc… so that fluid consumption is tracked easier

    Thanks for your suggestion! We will definitely consider adding a reminder to track water for an additional update.

    Currently, you can edit the unit of measurement for water to either milliliters, fluid ounces, or cups. To change this, go to your Diary, click on the three dots under the Water category, and click on "Change Water Unit".

    Along with that, you can look at adding another meal category to your Diary where you can keep track of other drinks, such as coffee, soda, alcohol, etc. You can actually add up to six meals to your Diary.

    To do this on the main website:
    -Login to your account at www.myfitnesspal.com
    -Click Food
    -Click Settings
    -Type in your Meal Names
    -Save your changes

    Or you can also do this from the app:
    -Go to your Menu
    -Click Settings
    -Click Customize Meal Names
    -Add your new Meal Names
    -Save your changes

    I wish there was a water reminder. I feel like some you can remind to log meals you should be able to log water
