Hello all! I started my lifestyle change on Thursday. My goal is to lose 45 pounds. I'm doing a variation of intermittent fasting/ low cholesterol diet. I started taking adipex/phentermine Thursday. I felt weird the 1st day, but feel tons better today. Looking for support buddies who are in the same boat...

How many calories are you taking in a day? Also, using phentermine DOESN'T teach you how to control your appetite NATURALLY through behavior. Almost anyone getting off of it will usually regain weight because it was the drug that held their appetite in check. The body can learn this without drugs with just habitual behavior change.

I just started Adipex 4 days ago and like you, the first morning I took it, about 5 hours later I could feel it kicking in. I'm 4 days in and I am also doing OMAD because my main issue was snacking throughout the day and also snacking at night while watching TV. With OMAD, I'm not being super strict with the "fasting rules". I wake up and drink a Premier Protein shake with the Adipex and if I feel sluggish or off in the afternoon, I'll drink another protein shake. I eat dinner after my 23 hour fast is done to give me that one hour window to eat dinner and then I restart my fast. A coworker of mine is on it and she's lost 75lbs in 3 months on it doing the same thing I just mentioned so that's why I'm doing it. She did say make sure you drink lots and lots of water because there are days where you won't feel like eating anything and also try to do 20-45 minutes of exercise 3-4 days a week on it as well.0
