This article may help better understand the Recipe servings: https://myfitnesspal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032622191-Can-the-recipe-feature-calculate-the-number-of-servings-produced.0

Workaround: Quite a few of us set the number of servings to the number of grams of the finished dish.
If I make (say) 1057 grams of lasagna, it's 1057 servings. When I eat 223 grams of the lasagna, I'd log 223 servings.
Works pretty well.
MFP will give you a warning message when you try to add some giant number of servings, but it will let you continue with the big number.
Alternative: Include your serving size in the recipe title.0 -
It's definitely pretty annoying the app doesn't have this simple feature. Also, creating a recipe takes way too many clicks compared to other apps. Personally, I prefer eat this much.0
