Lose belly fat & gain muscle

Hello, I hope I am in the right place for my question but anyway I am currently 195 with 27ish % of body fat and I want to reach to lose belly fat and gain muscle at the same time and from what I’ve read that the only way is through calorie deficit which I am not a fan of, please if anyone knows another way I would highly appreciate it thanks.

    I’m 180 with 22%ish body fat and I’m trying to do the same thing. Calorie deficit has gotten me from 245 to where I am today but this last part hasn’t been easy. Trying different supplements to reduce fat retention and consuming lots of low fat protein on a daily basis which includes protein shakes 3 times a day. Plus, lots of core exercise and cardio HIIT.

    You're speaking recomp. It can be done, but it takes A LONG TIME to do because you may lose fat, but muscle gain will be almost insignicant to the naked eye. Now you can get more defined which gives the illusion of looking more muscular, but that's from muscle you already have.
