Hi I’m new to this need to lose 3 stone . Finding it really difficult to get started with menu ideas and to know where to start any help would be great all very daunting

My suggestion would be to spend the first week just logging food. Learn how to do it. There is a good explanation here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1
Then start by cutting back slowly on foods you are already eating that are high calorie. You don't [necessarily] have to stop eating them, but have smaller amounts of them - whether that means ice cream or pizza or sweetened goodies only on Sunday or maybe a half portion of something like butter or cheese.
Try to add some vegetables to every meal until you get up to 5-8 servings a day of vegetables.
Take a 15 minute walk.
Next week, add and subtract other things. It doesn't all happen at once. Welcome to the site :flowerforyou:3 -

You don't have to fill your arsenal with new food or ingredients at all (unless you actually want to). You can lose weight while eating all of the same current foods you like and are convenient for you. The only thing that is likely good to focus on is getting in more whole fruits/veg really, since they're just good for you.0
